MMA SUBMISSION ENTRY FORM

This event is Open to all MMA Wrestlers

The event will be for Men & Women 18 years and above, Young Boys & Girls 15, 16, 17 years, Masters 35 to 44 years, 55 years to 54 Years, 55 years and over

Men’s Weights will be u57k, u62k, u68k, u74k, u82k, u90k, u100k, o100k, Open
Women will be matched, as will Young Boys & Girls

The closing date will be March 1st this will allow the organisers time to match competitors or cancel events.
There will be a minimum of 3 per category if there are only 3 participants only two medals will be given

You must fill in all details correctly so we can contact you if there are any changes to schedules. Forms not filled in correctly will rejected

RULES:

Matches will start and finish on a whistle

Bouts will be 4 minutes

Competitors shake hands at beginning and end of match

The purpose of the competition is to gain a submission by Arm Lock, Leg Lock, Strangle, Choke, Smother, Face Bar and Heavy Throw.

Submission is gained when the opponent taps out or indicates they wish to submit, Referee can stop the match at time if he believes one of the competitors is in danger of injury

In case of a draw the competitors are stood up and it is the first one who throws his opponent who wins

Equipment:
Shorts and T Shirt or Rash Guard or Wrestling Leotard
Free Style Wrestling Boots or Sombo Boots or Bare Feet

There will be no striking, No gouging, No Ankle Locks, No Wrist Locks, No Neck Locks, No Neck Cranks. In the interest of Safety no techniques that can permanently injure his opponent.

Referees Decision is final
