I have mentioned in previous blogs that I was honoured at the 2013 World Championships with a special medal presented to me by FIAS for my contribution to International Sambo. On Monday I had a meeting with President Shestakov and told him how honoured I was to receive the award he then informed me only 10 of them were made and only 10 people received them, then came the bombshell they were solid Gold, so you will not see me wearing that to often.
